Contest title:   7 DAYS

Organizer:   Wytwórnia Antidotum, Warsaw Poland; www.wytwornia

Contest objective:   To integrate young jewellery designers from different countries, allow them to cooperate and interact, become familiar with the newest trends and to compare their achievements.

Contest guidelines:   This time we would like to see your creative approach towards "multitasking jewellery". Wouldn't it be great to always have within your reach a set of jewellery that fits every occasion - modest for school or office and after a slight modification appropriate also for a Saturday dinner in a fancy restaurant, first date with a special man or even a garden party at the ambassador's? One "click", that changes everything; or maybe two sides of the same coin (the dialed down, "everyday" one and the "crazy" for special occasions); something small that extends into something bigger or can be dismantled into few separate pieces; a change in shape or just a decoration. we're interested not only in the appearance in both versions (casual and special), but also the process of change, so apart from the piece itself we also require a description or an illustration of this process.

Contest criteria:   Individual items or sets which are considered as jewellery can be submitted into the contest. They can be made using any manual technique, and the participants may use any kind of material, as long as their work comply with conditions of contest. We expect silver, copper, brass, bronze or alpaca to be used as a base material, which can be combined with any other materials.
Competition entries will be evaluated in terms of quality, aesthetics and innovation.
